Annisia Iacovou

Cyprus Comic Con welcomes Annisia Iacovou to its Artists’ Alley!

Annisia is an 18 year old, self-taught artist born and raised in Nicosia, Cyprus. She discovered her interest in artistic expression through creation; including music and drawing, from a very young age. She has won numerous art contest prizes all around Cyprus. Although she loves to experiment with her art style, her interest usually lies between fantasy and doll-like figures as well more natural themes such as insects and flowers. Moreover, she likes to experiment with different art materials and different types of art such as painting, sculpting and digital art. Annisia is currently focusing on her musical career as she is going to study violin in Germany. One day she aspires to combine her biggest passions, those being Music and Art. Until then she continues to be dedicated in her studies in both subjects and aims to constantly enrich her artistic repertoire.

Anna Cosma

Cyprus Comic Con is excited to announce the return of Anna Cosma to CCC19 Artists’ Alley!

Anna was born and raised in Nicosia. Art and specifically illustration has been a prominent part of her life since childhood. She learned how to draw through trial and error, although after receiving academic training under the guidance of a reputable art school in Nicosia, she began to refine her skills and develop a style that it is her goal to master.

Anna is heavily influenced by tattoo culture and illustration, something which led her to learning the art of tattooing. She has been tattooing since the beginning of 2018, and her art style has evolved along with her tattoos. In both illustration and tattooing Anna has specialised in dot-work, with subjects ranging from illustrative monsters to geometric mandalas, and more recently pop culture portraits. She works almost exclusively in black ink. Alongside tattooing she has been involved in art shows and festivals around Cyprus, selling printed t-shirts and prints of her artwork. Other than tattooing, her goals for this year include creating a tattoo-inspired clothing brand for her art, with select dot-work pieces that represent her art style.

Elias Neophytou

Cyprus Comic Con welcomes back Elias Neophytou to its Artists’ Alley for CCC19!

Elias is studying Graphic Design at Cyprus University of Technology (CUT). He aspires to be a comic book artist which was his entire goal ever since he can remember. He was interested in drawing from a really young age and everything he knows, he taught himself how to do it (from the several influences of other creators and artists of course).

His style is heavily focused on as realistic representation of anatomy as possible, with his own personal touch on it. Elias likes the use of all the usual tools (pencils, pens, brushes, etc) and enjoys to colour traditionally with watercolours, although lately he has been trying to improve his digital skills. His current project is still the comic series he has been working on with one of his friends.

You can follow Elias’ Facebook page to see more of his work!
