Applications for CCC2016 are now OPEN!


The applications for CCC2016 are finally open!

The biggest geek culture event that Cyprus has to offer is taking place at Filoxenia Conference Centre in Nicosia for the second consecutive year. If you haven’t already, mark down the dates on your calendar because the first weekend of September (Sat 3rd & Sun 4th) is going to be an unforgettable experience you don’t want to miss!

Special guests of international calibre from all aspects of pop culture, local and global artists, stores, bazaar with nerdy collectibles and crafts, community groups, gaming tournaments, cosplay competitions, the CCC Film Festival, as well as live music and a buzzing afterparty, are only some of the features that make up Cyprus Comic Con and YOU can be part of it!

Finally, the announcement you have all been waiting for!

Following last year’s great success, Cyprus Comic Con is aiming for an epic comeback in 2016 and promises to be bigger and better! We have taken your precious feedback and comments into consideration and we are excited to announce that this year’s third edition of Cyprus Comic Con will be a TWO-day event!

That’s right, two full days covering all your favourite geekdoms, from comics to video games and sci-fi, featuring special guests, panels, artists, cosplay, a film festival, bazaar, gaming tournaments, competitions and of course a variety of shops to satisfy your hunger for gear and geekery, with the best of what popular culture has to offer! Of course there’s also the after-party, but you are going to have to wait a little bit longer to find out more about that!

You definitely don’t want to miss this, so note down the dates:

First weekend of September (03/09 – 04/09), Cyprus Comic Con will be hosting the biggest geek culture event that this island has ever seen! Just like last year, the event will take place at Filoxenia Conference Centre in Nicosia.

Online pre-sale tickets will be available soon on our website at the following prices:

General Admission tickets – (Saturday 10:00-19:00, Sunday 10:00-20:00)

1-Day Pass €3
2-Day Pass €5

Children under 5 years old, as well as cosplayers can enjoy free admission.

Furthermore, this year we are introducing special VIP Early Admission tickets that will be available in limited numbers. These upgraded tickets will allow admission to the convention an hour earlier (from 09:00) for those lucky guests, as well as bonus additional privileges to be announced very soon!

Once again, there will be a bus service from all cities to get you to the convention.

CCC presents Back to the Future Marathon!

THINK McFly, THINK!; A week long celebration of one of the best movie trilogies of all time, Back To The Future, comes to a high point with a night long marathon screening of the whole series experienced like never before.

Hosted by Cyprus Comic Con with the help of MIX FM, Splashin’Turtle Productions, Gamers’ Boulevard, Brewfellas & Soul Kitchen @ the historical Pantheon Theatre in the heart of the capital.

‘The Cosplay Effect’ documentary now available online!


The Cosplay Effect‘ is a unique documentary that explores the hugely popular cultural phenomenon that is cosplay.

Produced exclusively for Cyprus Comic Con 2015, it was first revealed just moments before this year’s Cosplay Competition at Filoxenia Conference Centre on August 29!

Now you all have the opportunity to enjoy it again, as we are releasing the full video on the web! Enjoy and keep spreading the geekiness!

Cosplay Contest Winners 2015


We have been pleasantly surprised by the quality of cosplay we’ve seen this year. More than 85% of the 148 competing costumes were fully handmade, making the judges’ job a very difficult one. Every cosplayer was judged on Quality, Accuracy, Presentation and Effort with attention to every little detail from the way they talked and moved to how polished the overall costume was.
