George Theodorides is returning to Cyprus Comic Con for a second consecutive year as one of our Featured Artists.
George is 24 years old and currently lives in Larnaca. He studied Graphic Design at CUT (Cyprus University of Technology) and graduated in 2015. He has been creating fan art as a hobby ever since he was seven years old, drawing all his favourite fictional characters from video games, movies comic books and other media.

George is a huge fan of artists Todd Nauck, Alvin Lee and Patrick Brown. While studying in university, he learned the art of graphic design, logo design, posters, photography, typography, illustration, animation and many others. He is currently working on a comic book project and designing the cover title page of some other local comics.
He enjoys drawing using both traditional as well as digital mediums. Traditionally he uses a variety of materials, from colour pencils, to markers, pens and paints, while digitally he mostly uses Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
Talking about his participation in last year’s Cyprus Comic Con, George says it was “simply amazing” and an “unforgettable experience” as well as a great opportunity for artists like himself to showcase their work and meet new people who appreciate this type of art! The team at Cyprus Comic Con is extremely grateful for the positive feedback and we are very pleased to be able to offer a platform for local and international artists to showcase their talent as well come together in one space to exchange ideas and form strong friendships!
