Andreani Soupashi

Andreani Soupashi is a Cyprus-born artist, who focuses on digital art and illustration.

She started out young, taking art lessons and scribbling in school notebooks in black ballpoint pen.

Her favourite subjects include horses, cowboys, warriors and birds. When she’s not working on original art, she likes to illustrate heroes from tv shows and movies, focusing on characters with an inherent darkness and internal struggle.

Her signature style used to be grayscale but recently she overcame her fear of colour and dived right in. Despite having doors open to pursue an artistic degree, Andreani chose to study Computer Science in the UK.

While working through her course, she learned about graphics and game engines and discovered new and exciting ways to produce art. After completing her degree in 2019, Andreani moved back to Cyprus where she works professionally as a front end web developer. In her free time, she builds websites and dabbles in game development, embroidery and sewing, always seeking new avenues to express and challenge herself.

Like a lonesome cowboy, she opts for solo, commission-based work while enriching her more technical projects with the artistic skills she has gained through the years.

Anastasia Tyshkevich

My name is Anastasia Tyshkevich, I’m 30 years old.

I’m a self-taught artist.

I was born in a small syberian village. I always was drawing, but didn’t have an easy access to the pop culture in childhood. For gaming I had a chinese NES knockoff. We didn’t have internet, and there was only 2 boring TV channels available. Once the miracle happened and I saw Monohoke Hime by Hayao Miyazaki on TV. I feel like this is where it all have really started for me creatively. I was utterly surprised that a cartoon can be so awesome, beautiful and also show such a complex themes and feelings.

I got my first PC only around 8th grade and got blown away by Psychonauts, which still resides in a very special place in my heart.

Anime and games have been a huge part of my life and a big source of inspiration ever since.

I moved to the big city in 2009 when my university years started and I was discovering more and more of pop culture thanks to the internet all while I had to study math. Which, let’s be honest, I never really cared about, because I was an artist to the bones.

I did however had to find a full time job after university. But I managed to do it my way and got a job in a game development studio. Game objects, icons, concept art, promo illustrations – I did a lot of different stuff. But I have to do my work in a very different style from my own, which is a blessing and a curse.

I was drawing personal art without any sense of direction when I started working and was confused and tired all the time.

Then I did the Inktober challenge two years in a row – 2018 and 2019. All in full color, turning the official prompt words list into one continuous story. I did stickers and then a little book at the end of the projects. Just 20-ish copies for the friends and family, but it was a very cool experience.

Then life threw challenge after challenge at me and I have almost stopped drawing.

However, a year ago I moved to Limassol and after living here for some time something just clicked inside me, and I started drawing again. I feel like life has given me a second chance and I’m here to take it.

These days I’ve been learning a lot about anatomy and writing, exploring my style, embracing ideas, and trying to step outside of my comfort zone of cute and simple characters.

Currently I’m working on a horror comic project. It’s a bigger step after my inktober projects and it’s definitely a harder one but it’s also really exciting. I still love my cute characters and pretty much going to draw more of them, but for now I want to explore something different, to find my place in the creative world.

I’m hoping to experience the artists’ alley and see live reactions, meet local artists and hopefully make new friends.

Hi, I’m Anastasia also known as tasiadraws. I’m a 2D and 3D artist from Cyprus who loves creating characters, especially femme fatales! I studied Game Art at Falmouth University and have worked as a 3D designer for mobile games. My style is mainly stylized with a pinch of realism and juicy highlights. As for my inspiration, I’m a sucker for pop culture including movies, fashion and makeup as well as comics. Currently I’m working towards creating stickers and stationery while I’m hoping to create my own series of comics in the near future.

My name is AK, known online as Zekrum.

I am a 21 year old digital artist from Limassol, aiming to one day become a concept artist or an illustrator. For most of my artistic journey I’ve been self-taught. Then eventually I studied at Digireal Studios and then finally in uni. I’m a student at the University of Hertfordshire and am enrolled in the 3D and Games Art pathway. I enjoy designing characters and creatures, and am working on improving my background drawing skills. I’d love to sell physical merch of my designs!

It’s was year 1993… Just kidding, I was raised in Latvia and moved to Cyprus when I was around 17-ish (teen years, you never fully recover from all the drama ha-ha-ha).

Drawing as a form of self-expression was in my life since I can remember, but conscious choice of a more comic/anime style came when I was around 10-11 and we got the W.I.T.C.H. comics back at home and ever since then it was all about a more cartoony style.

I do admire realistic art and hyperrealism, but I rather show people how I see them with all the magic and sparkle, than just draw the face. After my later teens I discovered Instagram (ofc until my later teens there was no Instagram to discover, but that’s a whole other story) and from there on art became not only a self-expression form but a whole lifestyle. I do small comics, doodles, mandalas to relax my mind. A true artist will never close themselves into one box, we thrive in chaos of imagination.

I’ve been at the artist alley of Cyprus Comic Con for quite a few times and it’s always a great experience, we’re quite the fun room to be in if you stop by and chat. That’s about it, currently I freelance as a digital artist and an NFT creator.
