Anaelic @ Cyprus Comic Con 2025

Continuing the rich tradition of CCC’s unparalleled cosplay guest lineups – the one and only Anaelic is joining us as a special guest for Cyprus Comic Con 2025!

Originally from Scotland, Amber has been bringing characters to life for over 12 years. What began as a passionate hobby has evolved into a full-time profession, captivating fans across the globe.

She’s widely recognized in the cosplay community for her meticulous attention to detail and her skill across a wide range of crafting techniques. Through her tutorials, she shares her expertise and passion, helping others elevate their own cosplay game.

Anaelic has been a featured guest at numerous conventions across Europe, and most recently, she proudly represented the United Kingdom at the 2025 Cosplay Central Crown Championships at C2E2 in Chicago – one of the world’s biggest cosplay stages! Over there, she cosplayed as Navia from Genshin Impact and achieved Third Place as Global Champion – a well-earned spot on the international cosplay podium!

And Anaelic does seem to be somewhat of a Genshin Impact fan (to put it mildly) given her long list of Genshin cosplays::

Special Guest: Luis Coelho

Love cats? Spent the last two decades absorbing cat memes and comics from Garfield through to Happy Cat and even Long Cat? Well you'll love this extremely special guest announcement! Let's all purr with excitement together and welcome Luis Coelho, the mastermind behind Purr in Ink, to the veritable island of cats!

🐱 Who is this cat guy?

Luis joins us from Portugal and describes himself as a “slow art illustrator and sweetness sorcerer” (source: demilked). Why, you ask? Well it may have something to do with his incredibly detailed, cross-hatched art style involving hundreds or even thousands of pen strokes.

Hometown Kitters

Turns out, street cats in his hometown were his muses. For real! Just like here in Cyprus, mooching about for food on practically every porch and windowsill. Luis is quoted as saying that he had already long begun experimenting with the hatched technique, a foundational aspect of his unique art style, when he finally caved in to his brother-in-law’s repeated requests that he draw a cat for him, which he then posted on Instagram @purr.in.ink. Over a million followers and adoring fans later the rest is very much history!

Hatching – A True Labour of Love

Luis’ kitty creations are a real act of patience often with dozens of hours spent per purr-ticular feline pawtrayal (sorry). He goes into a meditative, almost zen mode while drawing; no rushing, just craftsmanship.
