The Cyprus Academy of Art is a specialist tertiary Art & Design College based in Limassol, Cyprus; A multicultural educational environment with students from Cyprus, UK, Russia, Middle East, Canada etc.
For over 20 years the CAA has been training & preparing aspiring creatives from all over the world for careers in disciplines such as: Animation, Fine Art, Architecture, Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Graphic Design, Illustration, Fashion Design, Photography, Film, Cinematography, Game Design, Concept Art, Product Design amongst many others. The CAA’s British Trained Academic staff have significant experience in Art Education & Professional Practice whilst also being active creative practitioners in the disciplines they teach. Lecturers teaching at British Universities have assisted in the formation of the accredited academic curriculum which follows the British education system.
Courses range from Kid’s Clubs, GCSE & GCE A’ Level Classes, BTEC Foundation Courses, BTEC HND Higher National Diplomas (equivalent to years one & two of Undergraduate Degree Level Study), Professional Software Courses, IELTS English Language courses etc. All courses are set-up to accommodate distance learners and students requiring flexible modes of study e.g. students in other full/part time education, soldiers and mature students with other work / life commitments. Our facilities include: open plan studio space, private study areas, an iMac Lab with the latest industry standard software packages, Library, Animation Studio with Stop Motion stations & Lightboxes, Photography & Film Studio with Lighting & Backdrops (Green-screen, black, white, grey), Fashion & Textiles area, Printmaking area, Chemical Darkroom for film processing & developing, Digital Printing facilities, Film Projection areas etc.
