Kancer The Crab

Kancer The Crab (Michael Yukis) might look like your usual guy but in reality he’s a human shaped kaiju controlled by a crab. Source: trust me bro. If you don’t believe us the just look at the bold creativity within his work!

Michael forges a path through the design world with art insipired directly from video games, anime, spaghetti westerns and internet culture of the 90s and 2000s. And sometimes even hentai.

These posters serve as a medium for Kancer to weave his own mini stories, exploring themes of life’s struggles and triumphs while keeping some other work focused more on the comical aspect of life.

With a keen eye for emotional depth (cleavage) and a touch of humor(memes), he uses his artwork to reflect on personal experiences, societal issues, and the ever-evolving landscape of internet culture.

Now, Michael is returning back out of his shell into another Cyprus Comic Con, ready to bring the pain for the second time.

Arcanum Comics

Arcanum Comics is a collaborative project between friends, created to explore the unlimited storytelling potential of the world of comic books while producing other iconic merchandise in the process. After self-publishing the first instalment of DÆMONIUM in 2017 (a horror story set in Cyprus) the collective was established as a unique brand to produce further titles under the Arcanum label.

The DÆMONIUM series tells the story of Marc Skoteinos, a guilt-ridden and traumatised ex-magician condemned to Hell, struggling with his addictions to magic, alcohol and drugs while trying to lead a sober life with his family. At the same time Hell mobilises its minions on Earth to find him after he discovers an ancient spell that hides him from their radar.

Chiaki

Liana Konstantinide, a Graphic Arts and Multimedia student at Cyprus University Of Technology and an artist specializing in creating anime illustrations.

Liana loves bringing characters to life through powerful and captivating poses. Her journey in art began several years ago when she was first introduced to anime and was amazed by its beauty and artistic expression and wanted to create something like that herself.

Liana doesn’t have a specific art style, as she enjoys creating a variety of works that lead her to explore new ideas, poses, and brushes, making each piece unique. While she maintains the classic anime style, she adds artistic spin-offs to make her illustrations distinctive. She draws inspiration from a variety of sources, especially Japanese illustrators like Yoneyamai Mai, Rolua, and Hasu Tkhs. These artists truly inspire her and she aims to reach their level and style of art.

Art is more than just a hobby for her; She has dedicated her life to it and decided to make a living out of something she truly loves and is passionate about. Each drawing means a lot to her and appreciates her work, which is why I want to promote it and share it with others. She is deeply committed to showcasing her art to a wider audience
