J-Rock sensation ЯeaL makes its international debut at Cyprus Comic Con 2025, becoming the first Japanese band ever to perform in Cyprus!

Get ready for history in the making! Japanese rock band ЯeaL will make their international debut at Cyprus Comic Con 2025, becoming the first Japanese band ever to perform in Cyprus. Their performances will take place on October 4th and 5th, with one-hour shows each day at the State Fair in Nicosia. ЯeaL is known for their iconic anime soundtrack contributions, including OP/ED themes for Boruto: Naruto Next Generations, Gintama, and Pokémon The Series: Sun & Moon.

Fans at Cyprus Comic Con can look forward to an unforgettable cultural exchange as ЯeaL takes the stage with soaring vocals, thunderous guitar riffs, and captivating rhythms. This groundbreaking performance not only showcases Japan’s vibrant music scene but also strengthens the cultural ties between Cyprus and Japan. Whether you’re a dedicated J-Rock fan, an anime aficionado, or simply curious about experiencing a unique sound, ЯeaL’s international debut promises to be a highlight of CCC2025. The band will deliver a one-hour show on both Saturday and Sunday, making history as the first Japanese band ever to perform in Cyprus.

Meet the Band

Don’t miss your chance to watch Ryoko performing as lead vocalist with her captivating voice while playing the guitar, Fumiha on chorus and bass, and Aika on drums and chorus. The band made their major label debut in 2016 with the release of the single “Byōsoku Emotion” with SME Records (Sony Music Entertainment). ЯeaL is celebrated for their contributions to iconic anime soundtracks, performing opening themes for Pokémon The Series: Sun & Moon and Gintama, as well as an ending theme for Boruto: Naruto Next Generations. FEBRUARY 15TH – Roll for Romance

Let’s start the year filled with loveee! The annual Valentine’s Day celebration with a CCC twist will happen on February 15th 2025 at the Mall of Engomi. As always, we will have a mini cosplay competition, themed quests, live performances and many more. Bring your date or find a potential date there! Anything can happen! 

 

MAY 31ST – Otaku day 

What is this? A brand new CCC mini-event? Otaku day promises a day full of fun for fans of anime, manga, video games and more, all honoring Japanese pop-culture! This mini-event will take place on Saturday, May 31st at the Mall of Engomi or Cyprus. A mini cosplay competition cannot be missing along with pop-up booths, screenings, video games and much more. Don’t be afraid to show your otaku! 

 

JUNE 28TH – TableFlip 

Calling all tabletop, board game enthusiasts and trading card game fanatics! Our TableFlip event is coming back in 2025. This mini-event welcomes people of all ages to spend a hot summer Saturday at the Mall of Engomi playing!

 

JULY 5TH – Kids & STEM

A mini-event for the little superheroes! This event combines the fun of Cyprus Comic Con with educational activities focusing on STEM, science, technology, engineering and mathematics! Join us on Saturday, 5th of July at the Mall of Engomi.

 

OCTOBER 3RD, 4TH & 5TH – CCC 2025 

You keep asking so we deliver! CCC 2025 will go on for 3 days! Since the opening ceremony  of 2024 was a success we will keep at it! Mark your calendars for October 3rd, 4th and 5th 2025 for three full days of comic con goodness. Sign up forms are already open for artists, creatives, vendors, activity hosts and performers. Cosplay sign ups are also open, so cosplayers get your supplies ready! Don’t forget to tag us on our socials to share your cosplay progress. Of course, we can’t forget to have a pre-party for CCC 2025! The warm up party will take place on Saturday, September 13th at the Mall of Engomi to hype everyone up for the big event!

NOVEMBER 1ST – Necro Comic Con 

Closing the year with a spooky twist! CCC’s take on a Halloween party will happen on Saturday, November 1st 2025, at the Mall of Engomi.

Heroes, villains, masks and fright, Cyprus Comic Con stirs Halloween night. Cosplayers rise and monsters creep, where fandoms wake and spirits leap.

Join us on November 2nd 2024, from 12:00 pm til midnight at the Mall of Engomi to celebrate all things horror and hocus-pocus! 🧙🏻‍♂️

Activities for all ages will be taking place throughout the day such as quizzes, karaoke quests, live music and so much more! – Stay tuned for more announcements. 🎃 

‘I see dead people’  – or at least some really convincing cosplayers! A cosplay competition will be happening during the event! Dress up as a witch, a ghost, a vampire or even as any of your favorite characters with a spooky twist! Horo Von Kaida and Marcelline will be returning to Cyprus as special guest judges along with past MCC champions Insoriel cosplay and Manic Crafts! 🧛

We’re thrilled to announce that Tasos Ntapantas, the renowned voice actor and radio personality, will be joining us as a special guest at Cyprus Comic Con 2024. Tasos Ntapantas has established himself as one of Greece’s most prominent figures in anime voice acting. From his early passion for anime to his professional achievements in voice work and radio, Tasos continues to inspire and engage with fans worldwide.

Tasos Ntapantas is a celebrated Greek voice actor and radio personality, best known for voicing iconic anime characters such as Goku in Dragon Ball Super and Sett in League of Legends. Over the course of his decade-long career, Tasos has gained recognition not only for his work in anime dubbing but also for his contributions to the Greek entertainment industry through Greek Otaku Radio, Greece’s first anime-focused web radio.

Early Life and Career Beginnings

Born in 1988 in Greece, Tasos Ntapantas developed a passion for anime and voice acting at a young age. His enthusiasm for animation and Japanese culture set the foundation for his future career. At just 19, Tasos began his journey in the world of radio by hosting independent shows. His early ventures in radio laid the groundwork for his later achievements, and in 2013, he founded Greek Otaku Radio, a platform dedicated to anime, manga, and pop culture. Through this station, Tasos connects with fellow anime enthusiasts and provides engaging content, including interviews with industry figures like Sean Schemmel, the English voice of Goku​.
