Anestis Mavrommatis Parasidis was born in 1994 in Thessaloniki.

He is a graduate of the Department of History & Archaeology of the Faculty of Philosophy of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. In 2012 he started creating illustrations and comics.

Since then, he has taken part in several exhibitions and festivals in Greece and Europe.

In the end of 2021, he self-published his first comic, titled as ”INNER FOREST”. ”INNER FOREST” was also awarded in CHANIARTOON International Comics & Animation Festival 2022 for best illustration in self-published comics. Anestis is passionate about fantastic worlds and imaginary creatures.

He loves sketching jesters, grotesque daemons, gnomes and frogs. One of his current interests is also engraving and screen printing. He is currently working on his second comic named as ”FLIES”.
